The Brevard Art Museum School offers eight 1-week themed camps for grades 1 to 6
In each of our themed camps your child will create and explore works of art by famous artists of the present as well as the past. We will inspire your child with art in the Museum’s collection and current exhibitions working with a variety of media including pottery, collage, photography, glass, printmaking, weaving and more in our Museum School’s studios.
June 9 - 13: Wild Beasts! Artist have painted and created artwork with animals as their subjects for over 30,000 years.Have fun creating your animal artwork while being inspired by other artists who create artwork with animals as their subject.
June 16 - 20: Pop, Wham, Zoom! Do you love cartoons? Much of the artwork of the 60’s was inspired by cartoons. Explore how the pop, wham, zoom was created and create your own.
June 23 - 27: Express Yourself! Just express yourself in art! Paint t-shirts, create your own pottery and more with your very own style.
June 30 - July 3: Fries, Burgers, Ice Cream, and Pie" Food as art? You bet! This week you will learn about artists that have been inspired by food as art and then create your own in paintings, sculpture and more.

July 7 - 11: "Funk, Jazz, Country, and More" What do artists listen to when they create? How about you?
July 14 - 18: "Bags, Boxes, Bowls and Beyond" We’ll create it, wrap it and tie it ! Can this really be art?
July 21 - 25: Imagine That! See the imagination of Florida artists in the Museum’s Juried exhibition. Then off to the Museum School studios to create your own imaginative artwork.
July 28 - Aug. 1: "Artie Art Cars" Discover the many facets of art cars. Then have fun creating your own in a variety of media.
Half Day: $120, $100 with discount * 9 to noon or 1 to 4 p.m.
Full Day: $215, $195 with discount * All day 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. |
